It's funny cause the music video for the song she's sampling (your woman - white town) is pretty much that except for a happy ending in a futuristic era. The woman is chasing after the man who is just there because of lust and she ends up getting her heart back and out of the relationship. Video also feels super vintage

A dua lipa song is more than just a song. It’s like a night out dancing. I don’t like 2020 but anytime I hear one of her songs I am able to think back to happier times or think ahead and imagine when there are good times in the future. I wish I could hear her new stuff in a club. When we are told not to leave the house it can be difficult to dance and enjoy it, but with one of Dua’s smash hits you can’t help but bop along to the beat, but when you play a remixed version it’s like you’ve got a bopper and a banger all in one. It will get stuck in your head and you’ll love it. Thank you Dua for giving us fun, uplifting , awesome beats that make us think of times when a mask meant Halloween and social distancing was only practiced if you had to release some gas at a party.

I hate to tell you this but White Town (1997) sampled that riff from a very old song by Lew Stone & the Monseigneur Band feat. Al Bowlly that was made in 1932. That song was called "My Woman". You can also hear the same notes in the Imperial March from Star Wars made by John Williams in the 70s. The origin is Al Bowlly...

@@claraschumann6987 it's called sampling which is not stealing, I actually think the specific sample is from White Town's Your Woman, My Woman is originally by Bing Crosby, and none of this has anything to do with my comment, which referred to the lyrics, which were written by Dua Lipa and her collaborators.
