the reason singers water down the dance is because they cant fully dance and sing live without it having some impact some small impact on their vocals. dua is not singing live here.

2:44 ……. i revisit this moment every other month … honestly when this happened it catapulted dua lipa from being just another girlie in the industry to being one of THE top stars, performers and icons with a literal 2 year roll out of an album!! this was such a power move, with the extended dance choreography and all. she came at the critics with such elegance, hotness and cool, no one did it like her. so much respect for her, honestly.

I’m so proud of how far she has come. They really slept on her for so long just because of her beauty. But she’s broken out of that box. I think she’s laying out the blueprint for the Madison beers and all the gorgeous artist who get slept on because of their looks. Also Dababy is one of the sexiest rappers I’ve seen. They don’t use it to disregard her now that’s the whole point is she broke out of that box.It’s actually a pretty common thing for women sadly in this mysognistic world we live in. She’s worked really hard to stand out. When you look a certain way the industry try’s to mold you and objectify your assets. She’s managed to break out of that box as opposed to someone like a Jessica Simpson where her music career kinda stalled and never took off because of her looks, if you haven’t noticed the music industry is all about manipulating people’s image for profit which usually puts people into boxes and 9/10 overly sexualizes them. I think her natural sexiness but eccentric style really set her apart from her peers.

That is how I deal with society, and I know that is what brings me happiness. Although, if I were to evict I wouldn't lose to anyone.

We’re a family who really enjoys nostalgic music from 90s and early 2000s. Pop music doesn’t hit our speakers much, but it’s impossible not to see Dua Lipa’s dedication and hard work she put into this performance. Just killin it with the dance moves. Vocals right on point. Yes she’s beautiful, but that wasn’t even the prevailing thought in my mind after this. It was clear this is an artist in her prime and on top of her game. My 2 year old son and I gave her a standing ovation from our living room. We bought the album. Keep it up!

RIGHT?! When I first found her I didn’t like her for her performances, great voice but she looked DEDDD. Her face and everything. She didn’t have to dance or anything I didn’t expect that of her but her stage presence was like.. 0 lol. Then slowly I saw her grow more and more. It’s amazing to see an artist grow like that. This is the most I’ve ever seen her dance and it’s just amazing to see her confidence grow on stage like that.

I feel very confident in saying this is probably lip synced. It's an incredibly common practice and it's essentially impossible to maintain that level of control over your voice while exercising that much. Also, looking at her mouth, it seems just a bit off to me.
