Well no one knows what will happen to her in the future cause she is literally bringing back the 80s to modern day, and knowing that most people listen to hip hop she will most likely gain less popularity if she keeps bringing back the 80s. Unless her next albums and songs will have a lot of features from rappers then she will be still successful.

@@daviluluwinner1823 I think Dua is successful right now is exactly because of that. Since US market is so full of Rnb/Hip-hop, Dua's music is like a breath of fresh air. The same reason why Taylor and Ariana are so successful.

When you’re singing you’re stretching your vowels, Americans stretch their vowels when they talks. which is why she sounds American. If this is wrong please correct me
@atlroxmysox983 жыл бұрын
@@christopherpersaud9792 I think it's actually kind of the opposite. We sing with taller vowels (like "ah" in call instead of a bright and spread a like in cat) and we generally drop most of our r's because American r's sound god awful when sung (except in country music for example, where that's an intentional part of the style). Like how she says "sugah-boo" instead of a harsher "sugER-boo". So we actually sound sort of quasi-British when we sing. Diction is fun.
