The “criticism” was just bullying from jealous Americans. Dua has always been a great dancer with incredible presence, they attacked her with one step that was a bad choreographer’s fault. She has more talent than Beyonce but they won’t admit that. Dua is a true composer who writes her music. I saw her performance in India, she’s a true performer and doesn’t just stand and do hair flips.

And that synth. That's what grabbed me, as someone not normally into 'this kind of music.' Pretty impressed with myself, speaking of. I was trying to explain what struck me about this song -- the keyboard, in particular -- to my wife, after hearing it for the first time. At least to me, that main synth just seemed glaring. I noticed it immediately. Is that Deadmau5 on the keys? There's nothing wrong with it. In fact, I love it. It's easily my favorite part! But (again, at least to me) it seems weirdly out of place. It stuck out. Anyway, ultimately, I thought it sounded a lot like a Gwen Stefani song on the radio 20+ years ago. And I was right! This is in a different (darker) key. I think that's what threw me off the scent I'd perceived right away. TLDR for any future obsessive or curious humans, the keyboard was actually sampled from the track "It's My Life," by Talk Talk, in 1984. Being the year I was born, as you can probably imagine, I was a little preoccupied. Oh, and the cover I was referring to was No Doubt's, not her solo work. I can't believe you didn't know that.

It’s probably not going to be a hit. On the top 40s chart of America it’s at 6. But on other charts, yes. This song is a magical hit but should be considered to become dissapeard from by responsible. I love this song! I feel it's a great start to her third album. I love the 80's synths. I love the club after-hours vibe it gives and the psychedelic rhythm. So unique, fresh, and modern. The choreography coordinates really well with the music. I can't wait for this new era of hers!

Dua has worked extremely hard to improve on her dancing. I saw her last year in Concert at her Future Nostalgia tour and she was amazing! This new 80's sound and her dancing are evident in how far she's come!! Love her so much! ❤️

I love the way she's featuring her improved dance skills. Every piece of this video has been done before: the dance studio setting (hung up, dancing on my own), writhing on a pile of dancers (all the lovers) , the long takes on solo performance, the minimalism (single ladies), but it doesn't feel like a boring re-tread - it feels like Dua having a pop girlie rite of passage. The camerawork is also fluid and fierce.

Dua knows how to reach the soul. This song and “Clover Cage - Prelude to Hope” are the two songs that helped with my depression. I just want people to know it does get better. I love you ❤️🎉

Yes, it seems like a little bit of the 80's style music is coming back; but, really if people want to actually dance in clubs or have a good steady beat to workout to, the 80's beat is the best motivator.
