If you did more than 20 paying gigs and have a professional profile to show for it then yes by all means consider yourself a model if you see fit. What you guys consider modeling isn't quite the same as it was back then, so to her because she did it for a couple of years she words as modeling. I did it for a couple years in the mid 90's but because most weren't paid (just to add to portfolio) or ended up in adverts I don't consider myself one. To be bother with it is pretty petty.

I love Dua's recent songs so much, can't wait for "Future Nostalgia", that 80s disco pop suits her so well, I'm so glad that she's one of the biggest pop stars in the world now and is selling out freaking arenas ... but part of me can't help but feeling so nostalgic watching this and missing our little, rather unknown indie pop Dua ♥ I remember seeing her for the first time in a really small venue in Berlin (even before her selftitled album, the venue was for approximately 500 people) and when people asked us who we were queueing for and we said "Dua Lipa" they'd just be like "Who?" :D Kinda miss those times but at the same time I'm just so, so, so proud of Dua!! ♥

Following/discovered her since 7 months ago, I have had the time to see a lot of her videos, lives, interviews, able to appreciate her beauty, talent, voice, etc! (First MV seen about her was performing Glastonbury 2017 close to that cow![Lost in Your Light] and 2nd. performance SRW3 Pop Festival, Germany). At the end I feel that her CLASSIC DARK-LONG hair will return in the future... This is a cycle, an era... This, her dreamed "Future Nostalgia" success will rocket her to the high llevels of pop! She deserved that!...She want that!...and the pop industry demand that, music, style, genres and image transformation! There is no way to compete with the Gagas, Perrys, Taylors, Cabellos, Madonnas, without those transformations. But I'm sure that the time, when DL will return to her roots, will come... (Remember, she is Albanian from roots, London-born girl...that did all this with her effort...not a Mickey Mouse Club, or Nickelodeon girl like mostly the others; I think this counts...)

My thoughts exactly. Emile Haynie, who produced most of born to die, produced this. Also, Nicole Nodland directed this. She also directed some of Lana's older videos and took the pictures for born to die. Her voice also reminds me of Jessie Ware
